An easily accessible mountain without trail markings and offers fantastic views of the Grövlan valley and the Norwegian mountains to the west.

Follow the same path as towards Storvätteshogna from the parking lot at STF Fjällstation until you get above the tree line. Leave the trail and walk south towards Blåkläppen.

You can also park in the summer parking lot, at the top of Nordfjellsvägen, and follow the trail towards Storvätteshogna for just under a kilometer before turning off the trail and continuing south.

Go up to the top, around the mountain or walk on the moors along the slope as far as you like.

Up here are Västra Barfredshogna and Oskarsstugan where you can go in and rest. You can also get to Oskarsstugan from Lövåsen, an easy trip over nice moors and the opportunity to climb nearby peaks. Follow the summer trail up towards Västra and Östra Barfredshogna or via Östra Barfredshogna (sign Storvätteshogna).
