In the evening, the table is set for our popular three-course inn dinner in our homely restaurant, with a view of the moor and the Norwegian mountains to the west. We always strive to work with quality ingredients, local as much as possible. Homemade and tasty is our motto, where you as our guests should always feel full and satisfied when you leave the table. If you prefer vegetarian food, we of course have alternatives for this. However, pre-booking is required.
With your meal, you have the opportunity to enjoy a good wine from our wine cellar, carefully selected to suit the house's various menus.

Lövåsgårdens Mountain Hotel
Lunch is served every day in Storsätra Fjällhotell's restaurant, also for guests who are not staying at the hotel. In the evening we offer food from the Inn menu as well as à la carte. We are KRAV certified and good ingredients are a matter of course. The menu often includes game and fish from nearby sources. For dinner we are happy to recommend something from our well-stocked wine cellar.

The café serves homemade cakes, waffles, and even waffles. Here you can often taste genuine German pastries, a favorite is naturally wise cherry cake. Shop with products from alpaca, alpaca wool, socks, hats, mittens and own yarn from Grövelsjön Alpaca, souvenirs, gifts and needlework. Experience the Alpaca, llama from the Andes.

The café and dining at Sjöstugan has become a real classic for many returning visitors. A crispy waffle, baked according to the original recipe from 1948, served with Sjöstugan's home-made cloudberry jam is something you don't want to miss. The homemade fika bread is baked with care and love.
The restaurant section serves a variety of homemade lunch dishes, à la carte and dinners, and also has full rights. Try our popular char soup with freshly baked bread! If you have special dietary requirements, we of course have such options.
Step into the welcoming log cabin that feels cozy and homely. Here you will always find something new to discover. Our restaurant has 50 seats inside and almost as many outside where you can enjoy your coffee or meal while looking out over Lake Grövelsjön and a magnificent mountain world as a backdrop.
Sjöstugan
The area's own bakery, located in a beautiful log cabin next to Grövelsjögården. Here we bake with genuine craftsmanship, sourdough bread with organic ingredients. Breakfast buns, or sourdough loaf for dinner, not to mention something good to put in your lunch bag. Or why not enjoy a freshly baked bun with a cup of coffee with a wonderful view on our outdoor terrace.
Pizza night on Fridays, choose between classic Margherita or the house special with beetroot chevre and honey, pre-order by Thursday. Takeaway only.
When the baker has gone home for the day, you can buy your bread in the self-service (cash or Swish).

Grövelsjön Mountain Bakery
Restaurant and café with panoramic views of the Norwegian mountains to the west. Meals are prepared here using seasonal ingredients and we use the local supply of game and fish as much as possible. KRAV certified since 1996, and since then everything has been prepared with the greatest possible number of KRAV-approved or organically labeled ingredients. Our fine organic wine and beer selection complements the restaurant's offering.
In Café Idyllen we offer hot and cold drinks, organic waffles and homemade coffee bread, etc.

A warm welcome to us at Värdshuset Grövelfjäll! Here you will find something for all occasions – lunch, coffee, snacks and hot & cold drinks. On Wednesdays we serve Neapolitan pizza. Eat it in our cozy restaurant and have a drink or take it home to the cabin. Pre-book by 7:00 PM the day before.
